The Art and Practice of Muscle Testing: A Means of Communication with the Body (Part 1) 9:30 am – 1 pm on Saturday May 19, 2018.
Do you ever wish you could just ask your body: “What supplement is right for me? How many should I take? Is this a food I should avoid or eat more often? Is it in my highest good to spend time with that friend today?” Do you have trouble making emotional decisions, and wish you knew what you really wanted?
Then it’s time to learn new skills like muscle testing, and find out the answers from your body! This class introduces the art of muscle testing as a means of communicating with the body. Muscle testing is an offshoot of Applied Kinesiology, used by health practitioners such as chiropractors, psychologists, dentists, medical doctors, physical therapists, and bodyworkers. Dr Miriam Wolf, an intuitive counselor based in Vermont, has taught this class for 30 years because she wanted to help her private clients care for themselves better. She presents a background on muscle testing, and teaches you how to muscle test another person and how to muscle test yourself. Demonstrations and practice time include helpful healing techniques, as well as tips on learning to ask clear questions. She shares how to access the appropriate source of information needed. You learn to talk with your own body using any of three different methods, and then allow your intuition to guide the questions. When used properly, muscle testing connects you with your body’s innate wisdom, and enhances your presence in and your communication with your body. Muscle testing helps you better understand and support your body on its healing journey throughout life. The result is better health, wellbeing, and more joy in your human embodiment!
This class is the first in a series of two classes, and covers topics about the physical body, the chemical body, and lifestyle choices. Bring notebooks and pens. Part 2 is planned for later this summer in New Paltz to allow you time to practice your new skills. It will address mental, emotional, and spiritual topics, and is available only to students who complete Part 1.

Creating New Realities 2 pm – 5 pm on Saturday May 19, 2018.
The current realities that seem to govern our lives were created in the past by our individual and collective choices, actions, and inactions. Now is the time to change those and consciously choose what we want in the future for ourselves, our communities, and our world. This class helps you learn how to identify your true desires and free up the energy that has been bound up by inner conflicts. We practice ways to broadcast our clear desires and intentions to the universe so that the universe can act upon them. We let go of doubt, and affirm trust, patience, and gratitude while the changes are made manifest in our lives. Bring notebook and pens.
One-on-One Private Sessions (one hour by appointment) are also available for scheduling, $180: Saturday, May 19, 6:30 pm, 7:45 pm, and 9:00 pm; Sunday May 20, 9:30 am, 10:45 am, 12 noon.
Information is gathered from your body’s innate intelligence (via muscle testing), and Dr Miriam uses her intuition and questioning skills to fill out or clarify the information gathered. If your being’s wisdom requests it, her hands use gentle touch to help balance your body energies and activate its healing ability. Sessions are relaxing, nurturing, fascinating, and fun! Many ways of promoting better health within are accessed, on all levels of your being.
